Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to maintain clinical expertise and supervise staff and students in the clinical setting. The role requires caring for patients from neonates to adolescents, with some adult care as needed.

Candidates must apply scientific knowledge, operate respiratory equipment, perform procedures, and respond promptly to emergencies while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Formación

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.
• Minimum of two years college.
• Two years’ experience in respiratory care is required.
• Credentialed as CRT or RRT by NBRC.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provided.
• Experience in a supervisory position preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains clinical expertise and practices as a Registered Respiratory Therapist; supervises staff and students in the clinical setting.
• Communicates and cares for neonates through adolescents, with possible adult patients.
• Exercises judgment within the medical plan of care, department policy and licensure acts.
• Applies respiratory science knowledge, uses respiratory equipment, and performs procedures.
• Makes discriminating observations and rapidly responds to emergencies to manage respiratory status.
