Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist who will supervise staff and students in the clinical setting. The role requires care across neonates to adolescents and occasional adults, with responsibilities aligned to the medical plan of care and licensure acts.

The ideal candidate will hold NBRC credentials (CRT or RRT), Texas license, and current BLS certification, with at least two years of college and two years of experience in respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an NBRC-recognized respiratory care program.
• Minimum of two years college.
• Two years’ experience in respiratory care is required.
• Credentialed as CRT or RRT by NBRC.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provide
• Experience in a supervisory position preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and students in the clinical setting.
• Care for neonates through adolescents, with occasional adults.
• Exercise judgment within the medical plan of care and department policies.
• Apply scientific knowledge; use respiratory equipment; perform procedures.
• Respond to emergent situations and manage patients’ respiratory status.
