Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to maintain clinical expertise and supervise staff and students in the clinical setting. The role requires caring for neonates through adolescents, with occasional adult patients, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Applicants should hold NBRC credentials (CRT/RRT), Texas licensure, and a current BLS certification. Prior supervisory experience is preferred and CPR proficiency is essential for all shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an NBRC-recognized respiratory care program.
• Two years of college minimum.
• Two years of experience in respiratory care.
• Credentialed as CRT or RRT by NBRC.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience in a supervisory position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical expertise as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Supervise staff and students in the clinical setting.
• Care for neonates through adolescent patients; occasional adult care.
• Apply scientific knowledge and respiratory therapies.
• Perform CPR and respond to emergent respiratory situations.
• Assess and monitor respiratory status using diagnostic tools.
