Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital in Pullman, WA seeks a Lead Respiratory Therapist to oversee patient respiratory care across age groups, under physician supervision. You will operate ventilators, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team to optimize treatment plans.

The role requires NBRC Registered RT credentials, Washington license, and strong communication. Leadership experience and willingness to mentor junior staff are valued; weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Credentialed through the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Licensed in the State of Washington as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Five or more years’ experience is a plus.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates mechanical ventilators.
• Operates non-invasive ventilators.
• Operates high-flow oxygen delivery systems.
• Draws arterial blood gases.
• Assesses patient data and adjusts respiratory care plans.
• Communicates with patients and family to explain care.
