Job summary

The position involves driving a collection vehicle, coordinating with dispatch, and performing pre/post-shift inspections. A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with CDL Class B upon hire and training in Solid Waste Defensive Driving within a year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months driving experience preferred.
• Oklahoma Class B CDL with good driving record upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Drive collection trucks along residential routes as assigned.
• Serve as lead worker for a small crew and report safety incidents.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and assist with maintenance.
• Operate specialized equipment such as clam shell, boom truck, and roll-off as needed.
• Coordinate with dispatch and report delays, safety concerns, or equipment issues.
• Refer customer complaints to Public Services and report problems to supervisor.
