Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks a Program Manager to oversee the Residential Care Services for adolescents. You will supervise staff, coordinate staffing, and support therapeutic programming within the facility.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with clinical teams, and adherence to treatment plans. You will participate in hiring, training, and ongoing quality assurance to support youths and families within the program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in child-care or residential/inpatient settings with youth.
• Demonstrated leadership and the ability to supervise staff and hold teams accountable.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities; effective communication under pressure.
• Valid motor vehicle operator record and ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of residential units, maintain staffing coverage and staff-to-youth ratios.
• Supervise Residential Supervisors and Direct Care staff; coach, mentor and evaluate performance.
• Ensure implementation of individualized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions.
• Manage incidents, conduct debriefings, and monitor safety and restraint reduction efforts.
• Collaborate with Clinical Services, Nursing, Education, Recreation, Dietetics and Case Management; assist with admissions and discharge planning.
