Job summary

The Arc of Union County is seeking an Assistant Supervisor, Residential to oversee direct Residential Support duties and supervise staff and service recipients under the ISP framework. Under the direction of the Supervisor, you will coordinate safe, dependable support and assist individuals in achieving social inclusion, independence, and well-being.

You will ensure staff assignments align with agency guidelines, participate in staff evaluations, and support teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Experience in residential programs with some supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Associate degree highly desirable; bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid New Jersey driver's license with abstract (not exceeding 5 points).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Support Professional Sub, Residential and Support Professional, Residential staff.
• Coordinate provision of services to ensure ISP goals and social inclusion for recipients.
• Evaluate staff performance and participate in personnel actions.
• Foster teamwork and positive employee relations across the residential program.

Skills
