Job summary

Chesterwye-Center is seeking a Program Manager to oversee residential services within the Residential Department. The role requires supervising five licensed homes, residential supervisors, and direct support professionals, while ensuring health and safety standards per regulatory and organizational policies.

The position involves developing outcomes in the Individual Planning process, coordinating medical services, scheduling staff, and staying on-call 24/7.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts degree in a human services-related area preferred.
• At least three years of experience in developmental disabilities and one year of supervisory experience.
• Must have access to a personal vehicle for agency business and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage Chesterwye residential services within the Residential Department.
• Supervise 5 licensed homes, residential supervisors, and direct support professionals.
• Ensure health and safety needs of individuals are met per COMAR, CMS, Nursing Board, and Chesterwye policies.
• Write outcomes and strategies as part of the Individual Planning process and track progress with Residential Quality Manager.
• Oversee scheduling, time management, overtime considerations, and payroll input.
• Be on-call 24/7 for assigned homes and conduct quarterly home visits with follow-up actions.
• Assist with PCP Meetings preparation and attendance, and monitor Individual Plans.
• Participate in management team meetings and HR hiring processes.
• Monitor client and household funds and review incident reports and progress reviews.
• Conduct unannounced visits to homes and maintain positive relationships with agency nurses.
• Maintain monthly paperwork and ensure timely submission.
