Job summary

Property ReVision seeks a Senior Interior Designer to manage residential remodeling from sales handoff to construction-ready handoff to the Project Manager. You will lead the design, guide clients, and resolve details early so the process is clear, organized, and enjoyable.

You will own the design (not construction) and collaborate with Sales, PMs, and vendors to deliver complete handoffs and thorough documentation with a strong emphasis on quality and coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time residential interior design experience; remodeling experience strongly preferred.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong residential design ability and technical competence.
• Strong knowledge of cabinetry, residential construction, building codes, clearances, materials, and installation requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design/rendering software such as Chief Architect, 2020 Design, Revit, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead homeowners through the design process from kickoff through final approvals.
• Turn ideas, inspiration, and real-life needs into thoughtful, functional, buildable spaces.
• Create space plans, elevations, cabinetry designs, renderings, finish schedules, specifications, and construction-ready documentation.
• Guide selections for cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, paint, plumbing, lighting, hardware, and other finishes.
• Keep design decisions, pricing, material information, and documentation organized and accurate.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, drafters, vendors, and trade partners to solve questions before construction begins.
• Deliver a complete handoff so the production team can move forward with confidence.
• Mentor and support other members of the design team and help us continually improve how we work.
