Job summary

RESIDE is seeking a creative Architectural & Interior Design and Sales professional to support residential projects from inquiry through design, pre-construction, and construction. The role blends architectural and interior design with client consultation, sales, pre-construction coordination, and construction support.

It serves as the central coordinator between clients, designers, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and company leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential architecture, interior design, remodeling, or design-build environments.
• Experience developing floor plans, elevations, construction documents, and design presentations.
• Proficiency with relevant architectural, design, 3D modeling, and rendering software.
• Strong understanding of residential materials, finishes, fixtures, and design selections.
• Experience working directly with homeowners and presenting design concepts.
• Familiarity with residential construction processes, estimating, bidding, and pre-construction coordination.
• Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Ability to balance creative design with budget, constructability, schedule, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track incoming leads from website, referrals, and other sources.
• Conduct client consultations, discovery meetings, and project appointments.
• Develop preliminary concepts, project scopes, and budgets for prospective projects.
• Present project concepts and preliminary budgets to prospective clients.
• Prepare and coordinate design-build agreements and related documentation.
• Follow up with prospective clients through contract execution.
• Support company sales and signed construction contract goals.
• Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other business development opportunities.
• Conduct home and project-site visits, measurements, and existing-condition documentation.
• Develop schematic designs, space plans, preliminary floor plans, and overall design concepts.
• Develop architectural and interior design solutions according to project scope.
• Prepare construction documentation, floor plans, elevations, and other drawings.
• Develop interior selections, finishes, fixtures, materials, and specifications.
• Develop 3D models and renderings as needed.
• Coordinate showroom visits and vendor selections.
• Present design concepts and selections to clients.
• Incorporate client feedback and coordinate design revisions.
• Maintain design documentation and communicate design intent to construction team.
• Develop and coordinate project scopes of work.
• Coordinate subcontractor walkthroughs and bids.
• Review subcontractor bids and assist with selection.
• Coordinate procurement and project information.
• Organize project information for handoff to construction team.
• Conduct project-site visits during construction and provide design clarification.
• Coordinate design-related matters with PMs, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
