Job summary

Vitt Heating and Cooling is seeking a Lead Residential HVAC Service Technician in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on advanced technical leadership, mentoring peers, and delivering high-quality service.

You will diagnose complex systems, drive best practices, and collaborate with the Service Manager to schedule training and prioritize work while maintaining customer satisfaction and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification (required).
• Clean driving record.
• Strong diagnostic capabilities.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex residential HVAC systems
• Serve as the technical leader for the service department
• Mentor and coach Service Technicians in the field
• Conduct ride-alongs and assist with technician development
• Support onboarding and field training of new hires
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Assist management with technical problem solving and best practices
• Complete service documentation accurately
• Collaborate with the Service Manager on scheduling priorities and technical training needs
• Help implement new service procedures and promote best practices across the department.

Pay Range: $45-$60/hour depending on experience

Location: St. Louis, MO

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus | No On-Call Schedule
