Requires a Civil Engineering degree, NYPE license or NICET IV certification, and 8+ years in public-sector projects with leadership experience. Travel to multiple counties may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Must hold NICET IV Certification in Transportation/Highway Construction or NY PE license.
• 8+ years of progressive public sector project experience with agencies like NYSDOT/NYCDOT, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications and communicate with clients and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional engineering services on multiple public sector projects and act as Client's representative in the field.
• Supervise field activities, coordinate contractors, and offer technical field guidance.
• Interpret plans and specifications, respond to RFIs, and document contractor performance.
• Review designs, plans, submittals, and payment applications; ensure project records are maintained.
• Lead on-site engineers and inspectors to ensure progress per contract cost and schedule.
• Ensure all documentation is completed and project close-out performed; enforce safety protocols.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

NICET IV Certification in Transportation/Highway Construction

New York Professional Engineering license
