Job summary

Distinctive Living in Brick, NJ through Mira Vie at Brick is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator (full-time) to oversee daily operations in the assisted living community. You will supervise care staff, coordinate resident services, communicate with families and medical professionals, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a homelike atmosphere that respects independence and dignity.

The role emphasizes evaluations, care conferences, scheduling, medication oversight, and ongoing CQI

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• Must have prior supervisory/management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.
• Must possess applicable state certifications such as CHHA/CNA, CMA/Med-Tech.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents prior to residency per state regulations or with change of condition.
• Communicate with residents, family, and staff to meet resident needs and service plans.
• Screen, hire, train, and supervise Care Partner staff and activity staff.
• Verify hours, prepare schedules, and ensure proper coverage and budget alignment.
• Coordinate medication management and documentation per policy and regulation.
• Participate in CQI and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and related rules.
