Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy Team is seeking an experienced energy professional to manage clean and renewable energy contracts and carbon reduction contracts across construction, development, and operations. You will oversee contract compliance, support negotiations, monitor project status, coordinate amendments, and maintain contract data and documents.

The role requires 5+ years in energy contract management or related fields, and familiarity with renewable energy metrics, virtual PPAs, and wholesale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy or environmental science.
• 5+ years in energy contract management or related field.
• Experience with renewable energy projects and performance metrics.
• Experience drafting correspondence and partnerships with suppliers.
• Experience with G-Suite, Salesforce, and AI tooling.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships with 3rd Party Vendors.
• Experience analyzing energy generation data, virtual PPAs, and wholesale market data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner for all of Meta's operational renewable energy contract requirements.
• Create, maintain, update and track documents and data related to renewable energy projects.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract deliverables.
• Review invoicing and reporting to ensure RECs, costs and performance align with contract terms.
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and manage amendments, collateral, force majeure claims, and other issues, as needed.
• Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution.
• Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and project operations.
• Coordinate with legal counsel, finance, accounting, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable and other key stakeholders.
