Job summary
Avanade is seeking a Sr Data Engineering & Data Governance Architect to lead the design and delivery of data platforms and governance initiatives for enterprise clients in the United States. As a Lead Solution Architect within our Data & AI Practice, you will shape strategic roadmaps, mentor delivery teams, and translate complex technical concepts into value for senior stakeholders.
You will drive Purview implementations, Azure data services, real-time analytics, and data migration initiatives,
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, or machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts.
- Design and implement Purview solutions (catalog, classification, lineage, access governance).
- Define governance standards, metadata models, and stewardship workflows.
- Lead data and analytics platform development including real-time intelligence and reporting solutions.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues within the team and across the organization.
