Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC is seeking a contract Release Manager V for an on-site role in Mountain View, CA. You will ensure multi-project releases are coordinated, timely and of high quality across development, QA and Production environments.

You will partner with PMs, Dev, and Ops to optimize release processes, drive CI/CD, and manage dependencies and risks across global teams. 10+ years in release management and PMP credentials strongly preferred.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience working closely with engineering teams.
10+ years of release management experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
MS in related Engineering discipline, MBA a plus.
PMP Certification is desired and recommended.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with project managers, development teams and sysadmins through SDLC stages.
Configure and release software updates to QA and Production environments.
Provide ongoing feedback to change management and release governance.
Improve processes and roll out new release tools and methods.
Develop reporting and metrics to measure conformance to release processes.
