Job summary

Chicago Public Schools seeks a RSP Manager, School Psychology to lead related service providers, support schools, and advance IDEA/Section 504 compliance. This full-time exempt role works to improve student outcomes through coaching, data reporting, and collaboration with CPS departments.

The position emphasizes budgeting, staffing, and program optimization, with a focus on student well-being and equitable access to services within CPS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Doctorate degree preferred.
• Valid Professional Education License (PEL) with ISBE school support endorsement required.
• REACH certification or commitment to complete within timeline specified by manager is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years as a related service provider in a school or clinical setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements training of related service providers to enhance effectiveness.
• Collaborates with CPS Talent office to recruit related service providers.
• Facilitates performance evaluations and provides feedback to improve outcomes.
• Monitors budgets and data related to staffing and servicing of related providers.
• Coordinates assignments and schedules for district and agency-based providers.
• Supports budgeting and planning for day-to-day operations and long-term goals.
• Keeps current with literature and best practices through professional development.
