Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX is hiring for an Admitting/Patient Access role. You will lead the admitting team, oversee daily workflow, and ensure accurate patient registration and documentation.

The position emphasizes high attention to detail, strong communication, and effective cross-functional coordination with billing and clinical teams. We seek candidates with a solid Patient Access background, CHAA preferred, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive knowledge of Patient Access; CHAA preferred.

Overview

Shifts Available : Variable

Employment Type : Full Time

Hours: 8-hour shifts – Weekends Friday - Sunday

Location : Dallas Regional Medical Center – Mesquite, TX

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the admitting team by overseeing daily workflow and ensuring smooth patient check in
• Enter and verify patient information, insurance details, and required documentation with accuracy
• Troubleshoot complex registration, insurance eligibility, and authorization issues
• Train new staff , help with scheduling, and maintain strong customer service standards
• Coordinate with clinical teams and billing to resolve account issues and support compliance and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive knowledge of Patient Access required, Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal & organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities. Extremely high degree of attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize.
• Good analytical & problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple demands and function well under pressure.
