Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• CPR certification or obtain within two weeks of hire.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and care of the aged.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Ensure care standards comply with federal, state and local regulations.
• Plan, organize, implement and direct unit nursing activities.
• Oversee documentation, medication administration and care plans.
• Attend care conferences and communicate changes to the administrator.
• Lead staff meetings and promote a warm, professional environment.
