Job summary

Westwood Village is seeking a dedicated staff nurse to care for our residents on designated shifts. You will provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, ensuring rights, dignity, and safety of Guests/Residents.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, assigning duties, administering injections and medications within licensure, maintaining narcotics records, charting care, and participating in rounds with physicians to

• Licensed RN required; must maintain licensure.
• Demonstrated competence in administering injections and medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to Guests/Residents.
• Supervise CNAs and subordinate staff.
• Assign CNAs and other staff to Guests/Residents; manage shifts.
• Administer injections and medications within licensure.
• Record and chart care and medication administration.
• Maintain narcotics inventory and documentation.
• Round with physicians as needed.
• Follow care plans and report changes in patient condition.
• Ensure infection control and safety practices.
