Apploi is hiring a Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care at Westwood Village, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The role includes supervising CNAs, administering medications and injections, and maintaining thorough documentation and resident safety.

The position emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to care plans, and collaboration with physicians to ensure residents receive the standard of care they expect.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license and abide by nursing policies.
• Experience supervising CNAs and subordinate staff.
• Ability to administer medications and injections within scope.
• Knowledge of wound care, documentation and infection control.
• Strong communication with physicians, DON/ADON and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care under supervision to residents.
• Supervise CNAs and assign shifts and tasks.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
• Complete accurate charting and maintain confidentiality.
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to physicians.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety precautions.
