Job summary

Qualifications

  • Active RN license (multi-state preferred) or ability to obtain
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
  • 1+ year supporting IDD, developmental disabilities, or long-term care populations
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with documentation systems (EHR) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to manage priorities, travel locally, and respond to urgent needs

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to RNs and LVNs/LPNs
  • Coordinate care delivery and ensure appropriate staffing coverage
  • Step in to provide direct clinical support when needed
  • Review assessments, care plans, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Serve as a clinical resource for complex medical and behavioral cases
  • Partner with physicians, pharmacies, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Lead audits, incident reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational standards
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nursing staff
