Intermountain Health is seeking a leader to manage patient meal services within the hospital for high-quality dining experiences. You will partner with nursing to align dietary needs with orders and educate staff on therapeutic diets, ensuring safety and cost efficiency.

The role requires a Registered Dietitian, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to train teams across food service operations. This is a full-time on-site position at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management; Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of hire.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work (required only in Utah and Idaho).
• ServSafe certification obtained within 90 days of hire date if not current.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Demonstrated highly effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience using word processing, advanced spreadsheets and database applications, internet and e-mail and scheduling apps, as well as computerized tracking systems.
• Demonstrated experience in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Manages daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partners with nursing to meet patients’ needs and educate staff on guidelines.
• Leads patient meal areas and trains in therapeutic diets with frontline caregivers.
• Ensures diets follow provider orders and cost-effective service delivery.
• Provides value-based leadership to build high-functioning teams.
• Oversees HR tasks: hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, discipline, termination.
• Monitors food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with clinical team on patient diet orders and concerns.
