Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a Registered Dietitian role, including 1 year in a healthcare setting.
• Must hold RD credential and LD license in Texas; if LD credential is pending, must obtain within 6 months of hire and be supervised by a licensed dietitian.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations for nutrition care within the department or specialty area.
• Supervises staff and ensures adherence to policies and duties.
• Coordinates payroll activities and staff scheduling.
• Ensures provision of medical nutrition therapy and related nutrition care.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives and participates in committees.
• Facilitates education, precepting of dietetic interns, and staff development.

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics

Graduate degree in Nutrition or related field
