Job summary
UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Clinical Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy under general supervision in the designated department. You will assess nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, and document care in the EMR.
Education and licensing: RD credential (Texas license) required; from Jan 1, 2024, graduate degree may be required for certification exam; no experience required but supervision provided; benefits include PPO medical, PTO, and tuition
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with Texas license.
- Graduate degree may be required for certification exam after 2024 for new candidates.
- No experience required; supervised practice will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy and nutrition care.
- Collect data from electronic medical records and perform nutrient analysis.
- Educate patients and families on nutrition plans and follow-up.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
