Job summary

St Anthony Healthcare Center is seeking a Dietitian to oversee the dietary department, supervise staff, and ensure the nutritional needs of residents are met according to regulatory guidelines. The role includes budgeting, menu planning, and collaboration with nursing for care plans.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Dietetics/Nutrition, with 1–2 years of supervisory experience, and current CDR registration. ServSafe certification or equivalent within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Dietitian in healthcare or skilled nursing preferred.
• 1–2 years of management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MDS, care planning, and clinical documentation standards.
• Knowledge of federal and state dietary regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the dietary department and supervises staff to meet residents' nutritional needs according to standards and regulations.
• Manage department budget, purchasing, and inventory.
• Ensure menus align with physician orders and regulatory guidelines and maintain sanitation standards.
• Interview residents or family members to obtain diet history and track resident dietary preferences.
• Keep records of residents' food likes/dislikes and monitor nutritional progress notes.
