• Equivalent combination of experience and training including one year of journey level work.

Responsibilities

• Teach standard methods and procedures for installing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Conduct classroom lessons following a refrigeration mechanic curriculum.
• Oversee inmate work crews and direct completion of refrigeration work orders during training.
• Maintain documentation of inmate attendance, training progress, and assignments.
