Job summary

Vast is seeking a Lead Recruiting Coordinator to coordinate executive scheduling and onsite interviews with confidentiality and precision. You will partner with recruiters, hiring leaders, and EAs to streamline scheduling, protect sensitive candidate data, and scale our interview experience in a fast‑growing space program.

This full‑time exempt role at our Long Beach location offers growth, KPI driven reporting, and a collaborative environment supporting senior leadership and talent operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in recruiting coordination or a comparable role.
• Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system.
• Strong project management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience standing up or significantly overhauling recruiting processes or systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point person for executive and senior leadership scheduling, manage complex panels, and onsite interviews with accuracy.
• Control access to sensitive candidate information during communications and within our tools; coordinate interviews confidentially.
• Partner with recruiters, hiring leaders, and executive assistants to run scheduling and onsite logistics; clear roadblocks and improve processes.
• Build and maintain reporting on coordination KPIs, including scheduling speed and interview volume.
• Develop coordination playbooks and process docs; keep them current as we scale.
• Identify and fix friction in coordination; propose scalable solutions.
