Job summary

Job Corps seeks a Recreation Supervisor to lead and manage a comprehensive center-wide recreation program. The role focuses on creating engaging leisure activities, supervising staff, and ensuring safety across all activities, including water-based programs with certified lifeguards.

The position requires evening and weekend availability, collaboration with center staff, and ongoing development of students' leisure skills and teamwork, contributing to a positive training environment.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and operates a center-wide recreation program.
• Develop and implement programs to promote productive use of leisure time.
• Ensure water activities are supervised by certified lifeguards and safety protocols followed.
• Maintain calendars and coordinate with staff and students.
• Train and mentor student leaders and staff in program delivery.
