Job summary

Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Program Manager for the Community Recreation Division under CNIC to direct a year-round recreation program across parks, camping, bowling and related facilities.

Responsibilities include planning, promoting, and implementing MWR programs, coordinating events, supervising staff, managing budgets, and building partnerships with base organizations and local vendors.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of recreation programs and their delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in writing and speaking.
  • Experience coordinating events and managing diverse facilities.
  • Experience supervising staff and overseeing program operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, promote and implement year-round Community Recreation programs across CNIC facilities.
  • Coordinate leisure skills development activities and classes.
  • Organize community events (concerts, festivals, day trips) and liaison with base commands and local partners.
  • Develop and administer a diverse Community Recreation program, including budgeting and staffing.
  • Ensure safety standards, customer service excellence and program evaluation.
