Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Community Recreation support specialist to assist with a wide range of MWR activities on base. The role involves customer service, event coordination, and managing rental equipment and supplies to support recreation programs.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and computer skills, with attention to accuracy in daily sales, registrations, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or recreation activities.
• Ability to organize, plan and administer events.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of computers, office procedures and print production.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and information for Community Recreation programs and activities.
• Process fees using POS and computer systems and ensure accuracy of daily sales.
• Assist with event planning, registrations, and inventory checks for equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with supervisors and partners to promote MWR programs and events.
• Assist recruitment, training and scheduling of Community Recreation staff.
