Job summary

Karman Space & Defense in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Shipping + Receiving Supervisor to lead daily inbound material operations and ensure accurate receipt, documentation, and processing for on-time production. The role requires 3–5 years in receiving or material handling in aerospace, with 1–3 years supervisory experience and solid AS9100/ISO knowledge.

Epicor ERP experience is highly desirable, and occasional Saturdays may apply.

Qualifications

High school diploma.
3–5 years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or material handling.
1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO requirements.
ERP/MRP systems experience; Epicor preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Receiving team; set performance expectations.
Oversee inbound shipments; verify part numbers, revisions, quantities, and docs.
Ensure receiving meets AS9100, ISO, and traceability requirements.
Review CoCs, certifications, test reports, and MRB items.
Coordinate inspections and dispositions with Quality; manage audit readiness.
Ensure ERP entries are accurate in Epicor and maintain digital records.
Monitor productivity and on-time delivery; manage timecards and reviews.
Collaborate with Procurement to resolve issues and align material with production.
Support internal and external audits (AS9100, DCMA, customer audits).
