Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Shipping + Receiving Supervisor in Huntington Beach, CA to lead daily inbound material operations and ensure accurate receipts and documentation for on-time manufacturing.

You will guide the Receiving team, uphold AS9100/ISO standards, review CoCs and traceability, coordinate inspections, and drive continuous improvement with Lean initiatives. Occasional Saturdays and Epicor usage are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years in receiving, warehouse, or material handling in aerospace/defense.
• 1–3 years in supervisory or team lead roles.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO requirements.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Epicor is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and develop the Receiving team with clear performance expectations.
• Oversee inbound shipments, verify part numbers, revisions, quantities, and documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure receiving activities meet AS9100, customer quality, traceability and documentation requirements.
• Review CoCs, material certifications, test reports, and traceability records; escalate issues.
• Coordinate material inspections and dispositions with Quality; manage MRB items.
• Ensure accurate ERP receipt transactions in Epicor and maintain digital records for audits.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery; manage timecards and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Procurement and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and align material availability with production.
