Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk in Huntington Beach, CA to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will manage receipts, storage, distribution, and tracking of materials, ensuring accurate records and timely availability of supplies.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year in a similar role, forklift experience, and proficiency with Excel/Word. Epicor ERP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of materials and hardware handling.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience operating a forklift and ability to obtain Karman forklift certification.
• Experience using Epicor or another ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and distributes materials, supplies, and equipment to support operational needs.
• Maintains accurate inventory records for materials received, issued, and stored.
• Inspects deliveries, verifies quantities and documentation against requisitions, invoices, and shipping records, and works with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
• Conducts routine inventory counts and audits, identifies variances, and supports discrepancy resolution.
• Prepares procurement requests for materials and supplies.
• Marks materials with identifying information as required.
• Operates forklifts as needed to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
