Seeley Consulting LLC seeks an Accounting Manager to own the accounting function for a residential real estate portfolio. You will oversee property-level accounting, ensure timely month-end close, and deliver reliable financial insights using your Yardi expertise.

Lead a team of accountants, refine processes, and collaborate with operations and leadership to explain results, variances, and trends. Strong Excel and reporting experience required; CPA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is required or equivalent experience.
• CPA or ACCA is preferred but not required depending on experience.
• Formal training in real estate accounting is an advantage.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development in accounting or financial systems.

Responsabilités

• Oversee property-level accounting for a residential real estate portfolio.
• Review property-level financial statements before final submission.
• Lead month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants, providing guidance.
• Maintain and optimize Yardi-based processes and reporting.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to explain results and trends.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting.
