Job summary

The Schreiter Companies are seeking a full-time Ready-Mix Concrete Plant Manager to oversee operations at one of our Missouri plants. The role focuses on managing the batch plant, equipment, and trucks, while coordinating with the Ready-Mix GM, QC Manager, and other Plant Managers to ensure quality concrete and reliable delivery to job sites.

You will supervise plant personnel, enforce safety and environmental regulations, and drive efficiency through training and improved processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in ready-mix concrete production and batching.
• Supervisory experience with a diverse workforce.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close plant facilities per company policies.
• Train and supervise batch plant operators, drivers, and yard workers.
• Oversee plant maintenance, lubrication, spill cleanup, and dust collection.
• Coordinate with dispatch, Sales, QC, and other Plant Managers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Inspect equipment and ensure timely repairs to prevent outages.
• Maintain positive customer and coworker relations and ensure safety compliance.
