Job summary

Liberty Military Housing seeks a Service Technician III to perform general and specialized maintenance in a multifamily community. You will operate building systems, handle repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related trades, and potentially lead others in the absence of management.

The role demands readiness for on-call work, timely resident repairs, and strong safety and communication skills. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ related maintenance experience preferred.
• Intermediate level understanding and experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, appliance repair.
• HVAC and EPA certifications preferred.
• Some supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance installation repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems and appliances.
• Tests and troubleshoots items (thermocouples, motors, boiler controls, fire alarms, plumbing fixtures).
• Applies proficiency in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.
• Completes resident-requested repairs within 24 hours and completes work on vacant homes to LMH standards.
• On-call service and emergency response; participates in routine inspections; trains or guides staff as needed.
