TruCare Community is seeking an Assistant Administrator for Villa Redondo Care in Downtown Long Beach. The role involves leading department supervisors and ensuring compliant, efficient operations for an 80-bed elderly care facility.

The candidate will oversee healthcare, food service, activities, and business office operations, coordinate admissions, and support HR activities while upholding safety and regulatory standards. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RCFE Certificate.
• Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and TB test clearance.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexible scheduling; position may include weekends and holidays.
• Experience in medication administration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Directs and manages department supervisors, assuring successful operations.
• Establishes and maintains customer relations with families to encourage harmony and communication.
• Develops and implements programs for Healthcare, Food Service, Activities, Business Office, Marketing, Housekeeping, Reception, Laundry, and Facility Management.
• Assists with Human Resource matters including hiring, firing, interviewing, disciplining, improving staff morale.
• Interprets RCFE and OSHA regulations and assists management in compliance with life/safety and all regulations.
• Assists with facility marketing and census maintenance, including tours and outreach; assists with admissions process.
• Performs weekly reporting and other office duties as assigned.
• Other projects as may be assigned.
