Job summary

TruCare Community in Long Beach, CA is seeking a compassionate part-time caregiver for elderly residents. This role supports ADLs, helps with daily tasks, and communicates clearly with residents, families and the Wellness Coordinator. A $500 sign-on bonus applies and training is provided.

Row-specific shifts include Tuesdays and Thursdays, with opportunities for growth and benefits for full-time positions. DOJ/FBI live scan and health clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and TB test clearance.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic needs of residents in a RCFE.
• Assist with daily ADLs and daily activities.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator.
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
• Document progress and communicate with physicians as needed.
• Maintain safety and calm during emergencies.

Villa Redondo Care is an 80 bed assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59+) located in Downtown Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver who has the passion to help the elderly and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. Job Description:

• Assist with the basic needs of a RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly).
• Assist with daily assignments, ensuring completion in assistance with resident Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Communicates clearly, calmly and effectively with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator with any changes or resident concerns
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents
• Progressive documentation and communication with physician and /or medical professional
• Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals in regards to reducing of pain while promoting engagement and independence
• Maintains good composure during emergencies
• Maintains a safe work environment
