Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Rack Integration Engineer to drive rack-level integration for AI and data center platforms in Secaucus, NJ. You will lead prototype and NPI rack builds and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and partner teams to ensure scalable, serviceable solutions from concept through deployment.

The role requires hands-on hardware integration expertise, strong problem solving, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through design reviews, validation, and build

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with rack layouts and mechanical integration.
• Experience with prototype builds and deployment readiness.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead rack-level integration for AI and data center platforms.
• Develop and validate rack reference designs and configurations.
• Plan and execute prototype and NPI rack builds.
• Support system bring-up, validation, and design verification.
• Drive resolution of cross-functional integration issues.
• Provide technical guidance for rack assembly and configuration.
• Create and maintain rack documentation, BOMs, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, thermal, power, networking, and serviceability issues.
• Review engineering changes and configuration updates.
• Participate in design and build readiness reviews.
