Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a highly technical Solution Architect to lead rack integration and AI data center compute designs for enterprise deployments in the US. You will translate customer needs into executable rack-level architectures, BOMs, and integration specifications, collaborating with OEMs and field teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on architecture, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive standardized rack designs across large programs.

Qualifications

7+ years of data center compute, converged infrastructure, or rack integration experience.
Deep knowledge of AI data center infrastructure and OEM ecosystems.
Strong customer-facing communication and architecture skills.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and solution architecture for AI compute and rack integration opportunities.
Translate customer requirements into standardized rack-level designs including BOMs and connectivity.
Develop and validate rack elevations, packaging, wiring, power, cooling, and integration specs.
Architect solutions for GPU/accelerated compute platforms and high-density AI racks.
Define rack integration workflows from receiving to shipment and deployment.
Support RFQs/RFPs, proposals, and design reviews with customers and OEMs.
