Job summary

MANIFEST Technology is seeking a Senior Quoting Engineer to prepare accurate and timely cost estimates and customer quotations for new and existing opportunities. You will apply advanced manufacturing knowledge to evaluate specifications, develop cost models, and support profitable quoting decisions.

Reporting to the VP of Technical Solutions, this role involves reviewing drawings, validating routing, and coordinating RFQ activity across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quoting, estimating, costing, or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of machining and medical device manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading complex RFQs.
• Strong blueprint reading and CAD familiarity.
• Advanced financial acumen and margin analysis capability.
• Proven cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and customer quotations for RFQs.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models to understand product requirements.
• Develop cost models including labor, materials, overhead, tooling, and related manufacturing assumptions.
• Validate routing and process assumptions with Engineering and Operations.
• Estimate the cost impact of design changes and engineering revisions.
• Ensure quotes align with established margin targets and support pricing reviews.
• Perform post-award cost validation and basic variance analysis.
• Provide cost analysis support to Finance as requested.
• Coordinate RFQ activity between Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Attend technical reviews and program kick-off meetings.
• Summarize key cost drivers and assumptions for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain estimating tools, templates, and cost databases and seek quoting improvements.

MANIFEST Technology is hiring a Senior Quoting Engineer to prepare accurate and timely cost estimates and customer quotations for new and existing business opportunities. Reporting to the VP of Technical Solutions, this senior-level individual contributor will apply advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes to evaluate product specifications, develop cost models, and support profitable quoting decisions. This role has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Pay Range:

$90,000 - $115,000 annually; eligible for company bonus program

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and customer quotations for RFQs.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models to understand product requirements.
• Develop cost models that include labor, materials, overhead, tooling, and related manufacturing assumptions.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quoting, estimating, costing, or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of machining and medical device manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex RFQs.
• Strong blueprint reading and CAD familiarity.
• Advanced financial acumen and margin analysis capability.
• Proven cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a regulated medical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems; IFS experience is ideal.
• Experience supporting customer negotiations.
• Lean or continuous improvement experience.
• Advanced CAD and blueprint reading expertise.
