Job summary

SECO Ecoplastic America seeks a Quality Supervisor to oversee daily QC activities at the Register, GA site. You will manage quality across injection molding, painting, and assembly; ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role reports to the Quality Manager and requires on-site work, strong leadership, and collaboration with production, engineering, and supply chain teams. Relocation support may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• 5 years in automotive quality control preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and processes.
• Effective problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work on-site and manage quality activities across production stages.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control Oversight: supervise QC for injection molding and painting at all stages (initial, middle, final).
• Ensure adherence to quality management and execution systems.
• Raw Material and Production Monitoring: manage material properties and set limits for molding/painting samples.
• Inspection and Testing: conduct ISIR and regular inspections during mass production.
• Oversee evaluation of PLT samples and manage paint quality metrics.
• Support Testing Lap setup and testing for U.S. subsidiary needs.
• Process and Equipment Management: supervise torque checks, tool calibration, weld strength testing, Vision NG Masters.
• Inspect cross-contamination prevention systems.
• Packaging and Incoming Inspection: verify packaging specs and inbound inspection procedures.
• Customer Response and Improvement: address color difference measurements and emergency responses per policy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement corrective actions.
• Team Coordination and Communication: collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain; maintain documentation and quality reports.
