Camaco LLC in the United States is seeking a Quality Supervisor to plan and direct activities for development, application, and maintenance of quality standards across industrial processes. The role oversees a team of inspectors and technicians to ensure supplier, in-process, and finished goods meet quality controls.

The successful candidate will have a 1-year supervisory track record, 3+ years in quality assurance, and experience in automotive seating.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in quality assurance.
• Experience in automotive seating.

Responsabilités

• Plan and assign work of Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
• Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction using plant quality assurance methods.
• Review product quality issues through direct communication with Quality Department Employees to ensure their knowledge of changes in procedures and standards.
• Respond immediately to quality concerns within or outside the plant addressing the defect, cause, resolution, and verification used to correct the concern (8D), including developing and posting Quality Alerts, developing and communicating break points to the customer as required.
• Provides support to IATF 16949 activities.
• Serve as a cross functional team member with tasks such as Control Plan’s, FMEA’s, 8D’s and SPC.
• Updates as necessary an 8-D / corrective action log on supplier rejections.
• Assists in maintaining the Gage room and the distribution of measuring equipment as well as calibration requirements.
• Suggests and implements changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of the department.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Maintains discipline, morale and harmonious relations among direct reports.
• Review Scrap material, disposition as necessary, develop and pursue scrap avoidance actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
