Job summary

Camaco LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance engineer to review quality policies and oversee manufacturing compliance on automotive seating projects. You will coordinate first article builds, develop test methods, maintain test equipment, and generate performance reports to meet customer specifications.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years in QA, with experience in automotive seating.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent.
3+ years of work experience in quality assurance.
Experience in automotive seating.

Responsibilities

Review quality policies, programs to ensure customer satisfaction and recommend improvements.
Perform internal audits and provide oversight of manufacturing quality.
Coordinate first article builds ensuring traceability to standards.
Develop test methods/procedures to support product validation.
Maintain test equipment and perform validation tests to meet specs.
Review AITF 16969 docs and ensure compliance; support APQP, SPC, FMEA, 8D.
Manage production part builds and layouts for PPAP; work with engineering changes.
Investigate/correct actions required for internal/external customer concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned.
