Camaco LLC is seeking a Quality Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a team of inspectors and technicians on a 7-day operation from 6pm to 4:30am. The role directs development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for automotive seating parts and processes.

You will manage daily activities, review quality issues, drive 8D problem solving, support APQP and SPC practices, and maintain calibration and gage room processes while fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance; automotive seating experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and assign work of Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
• Maintain customer satisfaction using plant quality assurance methods.
• Review product quality issues and communicate changes in procedures and standards.
• Respond to quality concerns with 8D problem solving, documentation and verification.
• Provide support to IATF 16949 activities.
• Serve as cross functional team member for Control Plans, FMEA, 8D and SPC.
• Update 8-D/corrective action logs for supplier rejections.
• Assist in maintaining the Gage room and calibration requirements.
• Suggest changes to increase safety and efficiency of the department.
• Initiate plans to motivate workers to achieve goals.
• Maintain discipline, morale and relations among staff.
• Review scrap material and pursue scrap avoidance actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
