Job summary

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of inspection experience, preferably in manufacturing, machining, or aerospace.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical inspection methods.
• Experience inspecting parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and dimensional tolerances.
• Proficiency with precision measurement equipment; CMM and Romer experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and accurately document inspection results.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, final inspections to verify compliance with drawings and specs.
• Lead the inspection team, assign daily tasks, and provide guidance.
• Operate CMMs and Romer devices to inspect complex components.
• Prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) by gathering material certifications and other required documentation.
• Maintain inspection records and support MRB processes.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering on disposition tasks.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
