Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection, machining, manufacturing, or a related technical role.
• Experience performing mechanical and/or electrical inspections in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, final, and shipping inspections across multiple product lines.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and prepare documentation in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
• Inspect complex machined parts, assemblies, and subassemblies using CMMs and precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, process specifications, material certifications, and customer requirements.
• Verify dimensional accuracy, material conformity, and product compliance with established specifications.
• Utilize precision inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, hardness testers, Romer Arms, CMMs, radius gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or components through Nonconformance Reports (NCRs).
• Review inspection results, approve conforming parts, and maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Scan and upload quality certifications, inspection reports, and supporting documentation into the Epicor ERP system.
• Support inspection equipment and tool management, including calibration tracking and compliance.
