Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Quality Engineer for our Canoga Park, CA facility. You will provide program quality engineering support across the lifecycle, from design through supplier collaboration, ensuring conformance to customer and company quality requirements.

You will drive corrective actions, participate in MRB, and lead daily activities to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments, while leveraging Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years quality experience; graduate degree 7+ years; no degree 13+ years.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions.
• CQE/CMQ/OE/CSSBB preferred.
• Experience with Power BI and data analysis.
• EVM familiarity and APQP/Zero Defect Planning experience.
• BOE experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer requirements flow-down and compliance with specifications; prepare analyses, procedures and reports.
• Lead Six Sigma/Lean initiatives to reduce risk and improve processes.
• Drive corrective/preventive actions and manage supplier-related issues.
• Interpret drawings and quality requirements; support design reviews for manufacturability.
• Lead daily work, participate in MRB and disposition nonconforming hardware.
