Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support quality engineering activities across the lifecycle of programs in Canoga Park, CA. This role ensures design, development, production, test, and supplier support meet customer and company quality requirements.

Responsibilities include applying Six Sigma and Lean methods, managing deviations, and driving corrective/preventive actions with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant quality experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related quality experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer requirements flow-down and hardware complies with specs.
• Handle deviations/non-conformances and prepare analyses for internal/external customers.
• Participate in Six Sigma and Lean to continuously improve processes and reduce cost.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions with in-house and Supplier, and support CAPA boards.
• Interpret drawings and specs to ensure compliance and communicate quality requirements to suppliers.
